In 2019 the Secwepemc Health Caucus received funding to support land-based healing throughout Secwepemc traditional territories.
Through this funding, the Secwepemc Nation embarked on building an on the land mentor apprentice program, land-based healing initiatives, and a healing plan based on each communities priorities.
The communities showcased in this documentary represent three of the regions within the nation.
